Dale Evans, DDS
Dr. Dale Evans has been practicing dentistry for many decades. He completed his undergraduate studies as well as dental school at Emory University. He graduated in 1971, earning his doctorate of dental surgery degree. He then finished his general practice residency and served as a captain in the US Army from 1971 to 1974.
Next, Dr. Evans began a general dental practice in Covington in 1974. He has been dedicated to serving this community ever since. Dr. Evans has completed all six continuums of advanced dental education training at the Pankey Institute. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), where he was recognized as an honorable fellow, and the Northern District Dental Society.
Dr. Evans is also a past president of the Southern Academy of Oral Surgery, a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, and a fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Regarding his personal life, Dr. Evans has been married to his wife, Sally, for 50 years. He is the proud father of two children and grandfather to five grandchildren. Dr. Evans is active in our community as a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Covington, the past president of the Covington Rotary Club, and the former president of the Newton County Chamber of Commerce.
