Meet Dr. Richard Kim

The Best Education for The Best Care

Dr. Kim received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Duke University and attended dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he completed General Practice Residency (GPR) at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Harvard University School of Public Health. After a few long snowy winters, he moved south and has practiced in the greater Atlanta area since 2017.

Dr. Kim’s mission is to provide personalized, compassionate treatment for his patients. He believes in providing excellent dentistry in an atmosphere of empathy, kindness and good communication. Dr. Kim has served as an oral health examiner for the US Army Reserve in Massachusetts. Furthermore, he has been actively involved in many community outreach programs to help extend oral health care to those in need of the care.

In his personal life, Dr.Kim is the father of a young son and enjoys scuba diving. Richard was born in Korea and raised in New Zealand. He then came to the United States for his tertiary education.

Dr. Kim, in his commitment to provide the best and most up to date care, has a strong belief in continuing education. He dedicates a large portion of his free time to learn techniques and better ways to treat his patients.

Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics (AACO), and American Association of Public Health Dentistry (AAPHD).
